Alma Schrage 

Alma is a student and researcher in the Natural Resources and Environmental Science department, as well as at the Illinois Natural History Survey. She started studying bumble bees there last January after a few years as a wandering bird bander and bee wrangler.

Alma is a illustrator who enjoys painting and drawing landscapes and animals encountered on the job. When she lives in one place long enough she is also a potter who loves to make functional but beautiful things.
